About The Position

New Brunswick Counseling Center (NBCC) is a CARF-accredited, nonprofit provider of outpatient substance use and mental health services. We are committed to delivering respectful, high-quality, person-centered care that promotes recovery and wellness across the communities we serve. We are currently seeking a Part-Time Clinician Supervisor (LCSW/LCADC or LPC) to support our Behavioral Health Program at our Mount Holly (Burlington) location. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related accredited program
  • Active New Jersey licensure: LCSW/LCADC or LPC
  • Commitment to trauma-informed and culturally responsive care
  • Strong clinical judgment, professional boundaries, and ethical practice
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently while working collaboratively in a team setting
  • Proficiency with EMRs and basic computer applications (Microsoft Office)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in outpatient behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, co-occurring disorders, MAT/OTP, or community mental health
  • Group facilitation experience
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish or other languages)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments for mental health and substance use needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor person-centered treatment plans in collaboration with clients
  • Provide individual and group counseling (in-person and via telehealth)
  • Utilize evidence-informed practices, including Motivational Interviewing (MI), CBT/DBT-informed interventions, relapse prevention, and coping skills development
  • Support clients with emotional regulation, stress management, recovery supports, and linkage to community resources
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team to coordinate care and enhance client outcomes
  • Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in the EMR in compliance with program and regulatory standards
  • Provide clinical supervision and peer support to interns and clinical team members
