Act as part of the medical services team providing reproductive health care as outlined in PPGOH Medical Standards & Guidelines. Practices within the state of Ohio Board of Nursing (OBON) scope of practice for an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). Provides direct patient care including history review, health education, physical exam, counseling, diagnosis and treatment according to protocols. Participates in accomplishing patient-focused goals. Provides referrals and participates in follow-up. Consults with Regional Lead Clinician and/or Chief Medical Officer to ensure compliance with guidelines. Participates in Risk and Quality Management program, clinician meetings and other agency and health center meetings and trainings as required. This is a PRN, "pro re nata", position who works on a sporadic, "as needed" basis. A PRN Clinician does not have a regular schedule and must work at least one shift per quarter if a shift is offered by the organization. Availability to accept offered shifts does not create a guarantee of minimum hours per month or per quarter.
