Clinician - Assessment & Diagnostic
About The Position
As a FreshSTART Clinician, you will plan and implement counseling services for residents within a therapeutic group home, oversees the clinical effectiveness and implementation of improvements, and provide case management services. The Fresh Start Clinician will be on call for resident emergencies of a clinical nature. FreshSTART is a short term, 90-day assessment and diagnostic program focused on the unique developmental, emotional and behavioral needs of children and adolescents. FreshSTART offers a detailed assessment focused on strengths and needs, diagnosis, education, and treatment recommendations.
Requirements
- master's degree in a human services field
- eligible for licensure (LMHP-E), a licensed mental health professional (LMHP), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia
