About The Position
The Clinician Unlicensed provides mental health support services to members served and their families at the program. The Clinician also assists in the coordination of all mental health support services provided by the Team. This includes coordinating and collaborating with team members and outside agencies such as, the Conservator’s Office, Public Guardian’s Office, Probation Department, County Behavioral Health Services, and housing and inpatient providers. Treehouse South, is part of a network of crisis residential programs in Orange County. Treehouse South is a short-term crisis residential program, which works in collaboration with the Orange County Mental Health Department. It assists members within Orange County who are experiencing acute mental health crisis, and need additional assistance in stabilizing their current level of functioning without resulting in the member being admitted to any Inpatient or higher level of care facility or program. The program is staffed by a multidisciplinary team that focuses on stabilization and recovery.
Requirements
- Registered with the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences: Must have ASW, AMFT, or APCC. Must be valid and current.
- A Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field and working towards licensure and registered with the Board of Behavioral Science
- Two (2) years of experience post masters in mental health setting
- Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
- Willingness to use your personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
- Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
Responsibilities
- Provides mental health support services to members served and their families at the program.
- Assists in the coordination of all mental health support services provided by the Team.
