About The Position

Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a full-time Clinical Transformation Specialist (Monday - Friday, no holidays/weekends). Responsibilities The Clinical Transformation Specialist serves as the primary resource for providing advanced clinical integration support at the local level. Provides ongoing user education and informatics support for various teams, committees and informatics projects throughout the facility. This position assists in providing facility vision and direction for implementations, workflow design, data management and related duties to support Shriners Hospitals for Children Mission and Vision. This role supports the development, delivery, communication and evaluation of staff education related to clinical systems. Coaches, mentors, and provides support for members of the clinical team in gaining and maintaining competency in use of clinical information and communication systems. Develops and performs competency assessments related to clinician use of information systems; documents findings; designs and delivers targeted remediation training as necessary. Facilitates and or participates in interdisciplinary teams to identify clinical systems improvements. The pay range for this position is $102,897 to $154,356 annual salary, commensurate upon years of experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Nursing, Health Informatics or related field required.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in clinical informatics required.
  • One year EMR (electronic medical record) experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management certification preferred.
  • Informatics certification preferred.
  • One year EPIC experience preferred.
