About The Position

The Clinical Trainer / Lead Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Behavioral Innovations’ Fredricksburg Treatment Center is responsible for training clinical staff under the direct coordination and oversight of BCBAs, ensuring that all training milestones and clinical expectations are met. This role involves collaborating clinically with BCBAs to ensure Therapy Teams operate effectively and efficiently, and that every child makes adequate progress according to BACB’s clinical requirements. This position is vital to the center's success, as it ensures that all new Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) receive training in compliance with BACB standards and the company’s training program, with all specified training milestones completed.

Requirements

  • At least one-year early intervention experience in the field of ABA (external)
  • Previous experience in a leadership role that required supervision of employees
  • High School Diploma required
  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
  • Must be RBT IV or higher (internal)
  • Time management skills
  • Observation skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Ability to receive detailed information through written and verbal communication
  • Willingness to learn and implement new skills, as well as the ability to train others
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Friendly and engaging personality
  • Reliable transportation is required

  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
