About The Position

SAFY of Lexington, Kentucky is seeking a full-time Clinical Therapist who will be responsible for providing a range of moderately complex clinical services (diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, interventions, individual/family therapy, etc.) with children, adolescents and identified adults in our Somerset division. This position is for our Therapeutic Foster Care and Independent Living programs. This position is hybrid, with three days of the week onsite and two days in the field. Requirements

A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, sociology, or child & family studies is required.
Must possess and maintain the appropriate highest level of licensure required by the state - LMFT / LPCC / LCSW / LPCA / CSW (may be under supervision; supervision also available in agency).
Ability to work flexible hours.
Valid driver license, acceptable driving record and auto insurance coverage to meet travel requirements; may require transporting youth if needed.

Nice To Haves

Two years of experience in providing treatment to youth and families is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Administer scores and interpret assessment instruments.
Complete any identified diagnostic assessments.
Develop and implement Service Plans based on assessments.
Provide ongoing mental health/clinical services as needed or are required by contract.
Maintain client documentation in accordance with SAFY policy and COA standards.
Services are provided at the level of frequency, intensity, and duration appropriate to prevent placement or achieve reunification. Services provided are tailored to each family’s needs, problems, strengths, lifestyle, and culture.
Submit written reports to supervisor and other parties as required timely and accurately regarding the progress of each family’s case.
Prepare comprehensive reports that adequately convey the necessary information to permit interpretation and decision-making.
