About The Position

The Clinical Technology Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth across IQVIA’s Clinical Technologies portfolio. This role focuses on business creation, account expansion, and strategic customer engagement, partnering closely with IQVIA clinical, operational, and technical teams to deliver technology‑enabled solutions for complex clinical trials. The ideal candidate is a consultative seller who can engage senior sponsor stakeholders, understand study design and endpoint requirements, and position IQVIA as a trusted technology partner from early engagement through execution. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10 years related experience, including 3 years of relevant industry (CRO/Pharmaceutical) and/or sales experience Req Or Equivalent combination of education, training and experience Req
  • Proven track record at mid-level and high-level contacts plus a record of customer contacts at the outsourcing, procurement and mid - management level
  • Excellent Business/Industry awareness and a thorough understanding of industry trends and impact on the business
  • Excellent analytical skills in assessing and interpreting customer business data
  • Ability to maintain demanding timelines

  • Ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed, cross‑functional environment.
  • 40% travel is required (based on location).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling clinical technologies or digital solutions (eCOA, eConsent, IRT, connected devices, investigator/participant payments, or related solutions).
  • Familiarity with clinical trial operations, protocol design, and endpoint collection.
  • Experience supporting bid defenses, technology demonstrations, and global clinical programs.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth by proactively identifying, creating, and advancing new Clinical Technology sales opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with key sponsor decisionmakers and influencers, developing a deep understanding of customer organizations, business needs, study pipelines, and technology strategies.
  • Position IQVIA Clinical Technologies as a strategic partner by leading consultative discussions that align technology solutions with protocol design, endpoints, operational complexity, and sponsor objectives.
  • Sell across the full Clinical Technologies portfolio, identifying cross‑sell and expansion opportunities and leveraging knowledge of broader IQVIA capabilities as appropriate.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans that define clear objectives, opportunity strategies, and actions for direct creation, cross‑sell, and account expansion.
  • Maintain awareness of competitive offerings, pricing, and positioning, using competitive insights to inform deal strategy and differentiation.
  • Lead opportunity execution in collaboration with proposals, contracts, and cross‑functional teams to develop customer‑focused, competitive responses.
  • Orchestrate internal resources—including Clinical, Operations, Medical COE, Project Management, and functional SMEs—to prepare and deliver effective customer presentations, demonstrations, and bid defenses.
  • Serve as the Clinical Technologies lead during customer meetings, bid defenses, and technology demonstrations, clearly articulating execution capabilities across platforms, devices, and global logistics.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle, including follow‑up, issue resolution, and completion of contractual documentation.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of customer interactions, opportunity data, and advance plans in CRM systems to support forecasting and management reporting.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and IQVIA technical and operational teams to support smooth transitions post‑award and sustain high levels of customer satisfaction.
