The Clinical Technology Coordinator is responsible for all activities related to the EMR including: Acts as the EMR expert user, providing initial and ongoing education to employees. Manages EMR interface with external software's. Supports staff with thorough knowledge of system capabilities and adjusting super user settings including but not limited to templates, immunization settings, document, and order types to ensure best workflow practices and system optimization. Conducts internal audits to confirm appropriate, effective, and accurate use of EMR. What is PACE? PACE or Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly is a federal and state funded program that provides comprehensive, coordinated, and proactive whole-person care to help maintain and improve seniors' health so they can live safely in their homes. There are 180 PACE programs, serving more than 80,700 participants in 33 states. The number of people aged 55+ is increasing in Grand Junction, CO and the demand for eldercare professionals is on the rise.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, associate degree is preferred.
  • Experience working in Electronic Medical Records.
  • Understanding of medical terminology.
  • Ability to quickly master new software programs, including electronic health records.
  • Demonstrated expertise and knowledge of electronic health records systems.
  • Excellent computer and technology skills
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to focus on multiple priority tasks
  • Curiosity—looks for answers/solutions without being asked.
  • Good teaching skills with exceptional patience of different learning styles

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a PACE program or comparable populations highly desirable.

Responsibilities
