Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in an Early Intervention (EI) Core Team discipline
  • Five (5)+ years of experience in working with infants, young children, and their families; experience working in early intervention setting preferred
  • Experience supervising clinical and support staff
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle conflict and facilitate collaboration
  • Team Player; maintain a positive and flexible attitude, actively contributes and shares knowledge to fellow Aspire employees in order to perform job, complete tasks, meet goals or manage projects. Collaborate, value opinions/ideas and remain respectful in the work environment.
  • Familiarity with Massachusetts Early Intervention philosophy and MA Department of Public Health EI Operational Standards, OSEP requirements and key performance indicator.
  • Requirements met for license, certification, and DPH regulations mandated by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Experience with Microsoft office, Teams, Zoom, Databases etc.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds independently
  • Valid drivers license and reliable personal transportation

Responsibilities

  • Program Management: Support the program and leadership in strategic vision and initiatives
  • Contribute, assist, and collaborate to enhance all EI programming and service delivery
  • Represent the early intervention program in meetings, committees, and community events; collaborate with partnerships to expand and enhance programming
  • Coordinate and manage daily operations of Early Intervention services
  • Provide oversight and management to ensure program compliance with state and federal regulations and key performance indicators
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the program and the Senior Leadership team
  • Team Management Proactively analyze data as a means of informing staff and program compliance as well as to drive decisions and program enhancements
  • Provide clinical support and coaching to build skillset of EI clinicians through reflective and administrative supervision, team meetings and professional development trainings
  • Manage successful performance of the individual and team across all aspects of the EI Specialist role
  • Maintain thorough and complete documentation of supervision activities, staff performance, program tracking & reporting
  • Participate in on-going learning and leadership skill development
