About The Position

The Clinical Team Lead provides clinical leadership and coordination for the residential clinical team within a 24/7 treatment setting. This role focuses on supporting clinicians through workflow development, clinical consultation, and day-to-day coordination of care, while also providing direct clinical services to clients. The Clinical Team Lead serves as a key contributor to the interdisciplinary treatment team, partnering closely with operations, nursing, psychiatry, case management, and behavioral health technicians to ensure cohesive, effective, and client-centered care delivery. This position emphasizes clinical quality, consistency of practice, and continuous improvement of team processes, while fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth within the clinical team. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a residential or behavioral health treatment setting.
  • Demonstrated experience providing clinical services in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Experience supporting or informally leading clinical teams, mentoring peers, or contributing to workflow or practice development.
  • Current professional license in appropriate discipline required – LCSW, LPC, or LMFT
  • Valid Colorado driver’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record required.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and support to the residential clinical team, including consultation, guidance on complex cases, and support with clinical decision making.
  • Support development, refinement, and implementation of clinical workflows to promote consistency, efficiency, and high-quality care delivery.
  • Serve as liaison between clinician and interdisciplinary partners to support coordinated treatment planning and communication.
  • Participate as an active member of the interdisciplinary leadership team, contributing clinical perspective to program discussions, problem solving and improvement initiatives.
  • Provide direct clinical services to clients, including assessments, treatment planning, treatment documentation, and therapeutic interventions as needed.
  • Support onboarding and ongoing training of clinical staff, modeling best practices and reinforcing agency policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate or support clinical team meetings, case consultations, and collaborative care discussions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve clinical processes, documentation practices, and team workflows; share feedback and recommendations with program leadership.
  • Support alignment of clinical practice with SummitStone policies, ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
