Job Description: SCOPE: The CSI Specialist executes and supports the implementation, optimization, and quality assurance of clinic‑based information systems within the radiation oncology space. The primary focus is to ensure system reliability, enhance patient care, strengthen documentation accuracy, and improve workflow efficiency across Radiation Oncology and related clinical operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, BSN in Nursing preferred
  • Active RN license in good standing with the LSBN preferred or applicable working knowledge of Mosaiq and Radiology systems
  • Experience working as a systems trainer/preceptor or systems administrator preferred
  • Availability to travel on occasion to support Go-Lives or training required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
  • Time management skills to address severity and priority of open issues.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains deep working knowledge of Mosaiq workflows and provides system expertise across Radiation Oncology and related service areas.
  • Provides initial Mosaiq training to new MBP clinic staff and providers.
  • Provides ongoing Mosaiq training to existing staff and providers.
  • Applies system-thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills when considering changes or enhancements; supports upgrade testing and issue resolution.
  • Assists with Radiation Oncology systems design, implementation, integrations, and QA testing for any new functionality impacting Mosaiq.
  • Participates in workflow improvement initiatives to reduce errors, optimize documentation efficiency, and support patient throughput and user experience.
  • Performs audit, analysis & reporting to identify trends, audit compliance, and develop reporting for quality metrics and KPIs.
  • Leads/supports systems training and maintains repository of materials including job aids, manuals, tutorials, and videos.
  • Ensures system compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards; maintains policies for EMR utilization and health information.
  • Serves as SME for QI/PI projects related to Mosaiq and clinical information systems.
