Requirements

  • High School Diploma Required
  • 2 years work experience in a hospital setting required
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to deal with and establish working relationships with physicians, hospital personnel and co-workers.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors Degree in Clinical Healthcare field, Business Discipline, Healthcare Management, Health Information management or Information Science or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Clinical experience preferred.
  • Nursing Degree or Licensure Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manages EPIC system applications in the areas of ongoing user support/training, dictionary, maintenance, system enhancements, problem analysis, resolution and troubleshooting.
  • Works with vendors and other IT staff to coordinate hardware installation, maintain and oversee changes, corrections, enhancement to the Clinical Systems.
  • Acts as a liaison for Departments for Clinical System issues.
  • Expected to oversee Epic training program for NVNV.
  • Work onsite with the ability to lead one-on-one instruction with nursing, physicians and clinicians as required; may be expected to speak to small groups regarding applications. Includes rounding on nursing staff daily or as needed.
  • Assist with user access for Epic, review training schedules; provide input for employees completing Epic training.
