This is a dynamic position that will allow the CMA/RMA/LPN to provide patient care at the topof their training to perform intake for patients, determine health needs, administer diagnostic tests and patient treatments, obtain patient specimens, take orders and follow protocols, as well as utilize many personal and professional skills. The CMA/RMA/LPN may work in any area as assigned. However, this position can have a variety ofassignments from our outpatient offices, RMH Healthcare Associates (including the Mobile Clinic), RMH Pediatrics, RMH Walk-In Care, RMH Milroy Primary Care, RMH Call Center, RMH Specialists, RMH Health Partners, RMH HealthCare Solutions. This could include facilitating the patient registration flow, including such activities as patientidentification; gathering demographic information; securing accurate financial information; obtaining required signatures and documents; and entering registration data into hospital information computer system. The Clinical Flex could also be responsible formanaging phone calls. Schedules patient appointments and directs patients appropriately to the correct departments. Having a variety of assignments will allow the CMA/RMA/LPN to have additional opportunity to learn and grow within our TEAM! The CMA/RMA/LPN at Rush Memorial Hospital works in partnership with the physician or NP/PA tofacilitate the care of patient needs for their preventive, illness and routine care. The CMA/RMA/LPN assists in the quality processes of the clinics to be in constant improving of patient/clinical care. The CMA/RMA/LPN is responsible for providing direct andindirect patient care to patients in an ambulatory office setting. This position also integrates clerical office-based functions with clinical functions on an as needed basis.
