About The Position

The Clinical Support Staff is responsible for providing high quality patient focused care through the adherence to organizational policies and procedures, mastery of clinical skills, and implementation of the standardized patient intake and standing orders. Promotes a cohesive environment of teamwork, open communication, care and support among staff and patients. Adhere to scope of practice requirements and ensure confirmation of clinical skill performance by licensed staff where applicable. MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE

Requirements

  • Experience in a medical setting preferred
  • Energetic, flexible and self-motivated
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, teamwork, customer service and computer skills
  • Ability to use clinical assessment skills and perception to determine the needs of the patient while working with the medical provider
  • Able to handle the administrative work to include scheduling appointments, directing phone calls, filing documents, and getting patients where they need to be.
  • Must maintain current CPR for all life cycles and CEU credits required for licensure.
  • Must demonstrate excellent internal and external customer service skills.
  • Employee must demonstrate an understanding of the intent, and follow standards, guidelines and protocols related to achieving and maintaining certifications by outside agencies.
  • Must demonstrate a personal and professional commitment to Eastern Shore Rural Health and its Mission Statement.
  • EMT: Must have current State Licensure as a EMT-B with IV certification, or EMT-I.
  • Medical Assistant: Certificate of completion of Medical Assistant program required.
  • LPN: Current Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse required.
  • RN: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse is required.
