About The Position

The Clinical Support Intern provides hands-on learning opportunities while supporting the clinical team. This internship offers exposure to patient care, clinical operations, and healthcare administrative processes. Interns will assist with patient communication, basic clinical support tasks, and clinic workflow under supervision, gaining practical experience in a healthcare setting.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)required.
  • Currently enrolled in college

Nice To Haves

  • Previous healthcare, clinical, or administrative experience is a plus but not required.
  • Interest in orthopaedics, specialty clinics, or patient care is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the clinical team by managing patient calls under supervision, including documenting interactions and routing cases appropriately.
  • Shadow and assist with rooming patients, taking vitals, and preparing exam rooms for providers.
  • Assist with minor clinical procedures such as cast or splint removal under guidance.
  • Help maintain exam rooms and medical supply inventory, ensuring equipment and materials are organized and readily available.
  • Support clinic readiness, cleanliness, and compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to learn about clinical operations and patient care.
