We are expanding with a new, one-million-square-foot, 15-floor, state-of-the-art facility on Cleveland Clinic Main Campus designed to elevate care for complex neurological conditions — including spine injuries, epileptic seizures, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis and stroke. This advanced building brings every stage of care under one roof, featuring dedicated spaces for outpatient services, surgery, stepdown, ICU and epilepsy monitoring, as well as additional operating rooms and expanded ambulatory, infusion, imaging, EMG, sleep and rehabilitation services. The Clinical Support Engineer organizes and maintains technical operations, evaluates and purchases outside services, essential supplies and repair parts of biomedical equipment. A caregiver in this position works weekdays, 8:00AM – 5:00PM with on-call rotating night shift once the caregiver is fully trained.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in biomedical or electronic engineering.

Nice To Haves

• Related previous experience and co-op/internship preferred.
• Certified Clinical Engineer (CCE) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the selection of new medical equipment systems by analyzing organizational and regulatory requirements and by evaluating available products and vendors.
• Manage the installation, use, testing, and maintenance of existing/new medical equipment systems.
• Collaborate with information technology staff to integrate medical equipment systems with information systems applications.
• Provide consultation and training on medical equipment systems.
