CSAs: Clinical Support Associates hired into this position would support all areas in the hospital except the Operating Rooms on the Minneapolis campus. This approach offers the flexibility of working in different units while learning new skills every day. Position Summary Provides safe patient care as delegated by licensed nursing staff and maintains equipment and supplies per unit standard.

Requirements

  • Completed a nursing assistant course or equivalent experience, or completed a nursing or health care related clinical practicum course.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Proficient communication, critical thinking, and prioritization skills required.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak effectively in English to perform functions of the position.
  • Skills in basic computer operation.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of previous Nursing Assistant experience or equivalent experience preferred.
