Summary Provides operational support for receipt, tracking, storage, and shipment of clinical trial and commercial biospecimens across multiple laboratories operating under Non-GxP, GxP, and CAP compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, biology, biotechnology, or a related field or currently working toward a similar degree; equivalent experience/education may be considered.
  • Interest in laboratory operations, biospecimen management, or clinical research support.
  • Ability to follow SOPs and work within Non-GxP, GxP, and CAP-compliant environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills required; experience with LIMS or sample tracking systems preferred but not required.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work with multiple laboratory teams.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, accession, allocate, and track biological samples in LIMS in support of multiple laboratories.
  • Support inbound and outbound sample shipments while maintaining chain of custody.
  • Store samples and maintain accurate inventory across LIMS-managed storage units.
  • Support routine inventory audits and troubleshoot discrepancies.
  • Coordinate sample and digital file receipt with internal teams and CROs in compliance with applicable laboratory requirements.
  • Support inspection readiness activities and participate in CAP, GxP, and internal inspections and audits as needed.
  • This is a fully onsite position requiring hands-on support in laboratory and biospecimen storage environments.
