About The Position

Join our team as a Clinical Supervisor - Adult Outpatient with strong potential for permanent placement. Summary: This position is responsible for the supervision of an Adult Blended Case Management team and BCM administrative assistant. This includes supervision of client care, responsibility for team production and implementation of administrative policy. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Requirements

  • Master's degree (M. A.) or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software to access company e-mail and training and evaluation tools and MS Word word processing software.
  • CPR certification.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Must be able to travel within the region 40% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Provides weekly individual supervision with assigned staff.
  • Facilitates and documents team meetings according to standards.
  • Completes supervision and team meeting logs concurrently.
  • Provides field supervision to ensure quality service and compliance with standards.
  • Provides support, assistance, and training to staff.
  • Provide assistance and support to staff handling crisis situations.
  • Attend scheduled meetings such as Supervisor meeting through DBH, Joint Management, divisional meeting, and others as needed.
  • Collects data, monitors and meets deadlines for weekly production report, monthly reports, employee performance appraisal, weekly schedules, individual supervision forms and other special reports as needed.
  • Promptly reports problems and all incidents to the Director.
  • Completes internal or external reports as required.
  • Monitors compliance with agency guidelines for using agency vehicles.
  • Reviews and initials bi-weekly timesheets.
  • Reviews and submits leave requests for the team to the Director.
  • Responsible for pick up, logging in, and distribution of consumer’s checks to appropriate staff on a monthly basis.
  • Keeps track of funds spent on clients’ behalf and maintains receipts to ensure appropriate use of funds.
  • Collects, reviews and approves monthly expense reports submitted by staff
  • Responsible for picking up and distributing staff pay checks bi-weekly
  • Reviews charts to monitor compliance with Agency, DBH and State regulations.
  • Monitors and assists staff in complying with minimum 14-day contacts and maintaining minimum of 75% productivity weekly.
  • Monitors use of equipment such as pagers, cell phones and computers.
  • Monitors compliance with on-call pager procedures.
  • Reviews and monitors compliance with mandatory paperwork such as service documentation, personal goal plans, weekly schedules, CRC logs, outcomes and intake and termination paperwork.
  • Assists with identifying community resources for the coordination of services to meet client needs.
  • Conducts face-to-face visits to Personal Care Boarding Homes as specified by DBH.
  • Collaborates with service team members to ensure coordinated care for clients.
  • Troubleshoots as needed.
  • Directly supervises 6 to 8 employees in the Adult Blended Case Management department.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
