About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Supervisor to manage and oversee a team of licensed clinicians. This position will provide leadership, clinical supervision, and administrative oversight to ensure high-quality care for our clients. Essential Functions: Clinical Supervision: Provide individual and group supervision to clinicians, ensuring that all clinical practices adhere to professional standards, ethical guidelines, and ACC’s mission. Case Management: Oversee the management of client cases, including assessment ,treatment planning, intervention, and evaluation. Ensure that services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Program Development: Collaborate with the leadership team to design, implement, and evaluate behavioral health programs and services. Contribute to the development of evidence-based practices that align with ACC’s goals. Staff Development: Mentor and support the professional growth of clinical staff through ongoing training, performance evaluations, and feedback. Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that encourages continuous learning. Quality Assurance: Monitor and ensure the quality of clinical documentation and service delivery. Lead county audits. Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of ACC’s behavioral health services. Client Advocacy: Advocate for clients’ needs and rights, ensuring they receive comprehensive care that addresses both their behavioral health and broader human needs. Coordinate with other ACC programs to provide holistic support. Crisis Intervention: Provide guidance and support during crisis situations, ensuring that clinicians are equipped to respond effectively and compassionately to clients in need.

Requirements

  • Fully licensed clinician (LMSW, LPC, LLP or equivalent) in the state of Michigan.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience and at least 1 year of leadership experience.
  • Must be able to demonstrate leadership skills, have knowledge of treatment systems and the ability to successfully help others provide quality services.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and compliance with ACC policies and procedures.
  • Must have the knowledge of community resources.
  • Must have the ability to exercise initiative, problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Demonstrate skill in organizing, planning and prioritizing.
  • Must have the background in working with diverse patient populations including chronically mentally ill, substance abuse, geriatric and child and adolescent patients.
  • Demonstrates strong computer skills.
