About The Position

The Clinical Supervisor provides leadership, supervision, and clinical oversight to a team of clinicians delivering behavioral health and social service programs. This position supports staff in providing high-quality, evidence-based services while ensuring compliance with agency policies, ethical standards, funding and accreditation requirements. The Clinical Supervisor offers ongoing guidance and feedback as clinicians use their professional expertise, discretion, and judgment to assess, diagnose, and treat their clients. The Clinical Supervisor fosters a culture of professional growth, accountability, and collaboration through reflective supervision, guidance, and training. This role balances clinical and administrative responsibilities, including program oversight, documentation review, performance evaluation, and limited direct client service. Flexibility and adaptability are essential, as workload and supervisory scope may shift based on program and agency needs.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in a mental health discipline, required
  • Active Florida licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or equivalent) required
  • Minimum five (5) years of post-master’s clinical experience, including at least one (1) year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred
  • Experience in behavioral health, social services, or a related community setting required
  • Strong understanding of clinical assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions.
  • Excellent leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to balance administrative and clinical demands in a dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of community resources
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and strengths-based care
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
