Eliot's Outpatient Clinic provides evidence-based evaluation, counseling, and medication management for children, families and adults with mental health and substance use needs. In this role, the Clinical Supervisor provides direct clinical oversight and supervision to all staff. The ideal candidate is a licensed Clinician with demonstrated supervisory experience and a strong commitment to delivering evidence-based, person-centered care.

Requirements

  • Must hold a current Massachusetts clinical license (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, or Licensed Psychologist).
  • Minimum of three years of clinical experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and/or substance use disorders.
  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or clinical leadership role.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct clinical oversight, guidance, and supervision to outpatient staff in both office and field-based settings, supporting the development of effective, evidence-based interventions.
  • Supervise and support staff in delivering culturally competent, strength-based, and person-centered services, ensuring individuals are actively involved in their treatment planning and care.
  • Oversee the completion of clinical assessments, authorizations, crisis plans, admissions, and ongoing symptom monitoring in accordance with agency and outpatient program requirements.
  • Manage staff providing side by side interventions to individuals that focus on problem solving, skills training, modeling behavior, optimism and encouragement.
  • Ensure completion of all treatment plans. Ensure that each individual is actively involved in their treatment planning process and their preferences are embraced.
  • Ensure that treatment goals are culturally competent, strength based, realistic, attainable and promote recovery.
