About The Position

Inova Neurology Services is looking for a dedicated Clinical Outpatient Supervisor to join the team. This role will be full-time, day shift Monday- Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Job location: the Clinical Supervisor will help the Fair Oaks, Loudoun and Gainesville offices.

The Clinical Supervisor Outpatient is responsible for the administration and application of all clinical nursing functions, procedures and protocols. Supervises clinical operations, direct patient care, and patient education. Coordinates and facilitates patient care progression throughout the healthcare continuum. Manages patient care effectively and timely by working collaboratively and maintaining active communication with members of the primary care team.

Requirements

• Certification - Basic Life Support from American Heart Association- Upon Start
• Licensure - Licensed Practical Nurse - Upon Start or RN License
• Experience - 1 year of nursing or related healthcare experience as LPN
• Education - Vocational/Technical School - Nursing or Associate's degree or BSN

• Experience: Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and assists team members in assigned functional area, which may include but not limited to, ensuring team is meeting key-deliverables and quality standards, addressing and resolving challenges, managing and tracking performance, and assisting in time management and scheduling; escalates issues to senior leaders as needed.
• Supervises clinical operations, direct patient care, and patient education.
• Responsible for the administration and application of all clinical nursing functions, procedures and protocols.
• Coordinates and facilitates patient care progression throughout the healthcare continuum.
• Manages patient care effectively and timely by working collaboratively and maintaining active communication with members of the primary care team.
• Utilizes standards, guidelines, policies, procedures and clinical pathways for delivery of care.
• Improves clinical operations through utilization of data and the quality process. Actively participates in clinical performance improvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
