About The Position

The Clinical Supervisor provides agency-wide clinical leadership and oversight across all Domestic Violence (DV) shelter programs and sites. This role is responsible for supervising licensed clinicians and social workers, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed, and evidence-based clinical services for survivors of domestic violence. The Clinical Supervisor directly supervises the Art Therapist at Victory I and provides clinical consultation and guidance to the Art Therapist across the remaining DV sites. In addition to supervisory and consultative responsibilities, the Clinical Supervisor maintains a small caseload of high-need clients, conducts comprehensive psychosocial and clinical assessments to support housing and service planning, and provides crisis intervention and clinical guidance during critical incidents. The position collaborates closely with program leadership to ensure compliance with agency, funder, and regulatory requirements. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Evening and/or weekend hours may be required. Victory I is a facility that provides comprehensive services and safe, anonymous housing for individuals and their children experiencing domestic violence. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in social work and Mental Health Counseling.
  • Current NYS licensure required (LCSW, LMSW, or LMHC).
  • Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience with trauma-impacted populations, preferably survivors of domestic violence, and minimum two (2) years of clinical supervisory experience,
  • Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care and crisis intervention.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical oversight and leadership across all Domestic Violence shelter programs and sites.
  • Supervise licensed clinicians and social workers, including the SRT Therapist at Victory I, and provide clinical consultation to the Art Therapist across the remaining DV sites.
  • Conduct regular individual and group supervision sessions and case conferences.
  • Maintain a small caseload of clients with complex clinical needs.
  • Complete psychosocial and clinical assessments to support housing applications and service planning.
  • Provide clinical guidance during crises and critical incidents, including after-hours on-call support as required.
  • Ensure clinical documentation meets agency and funder standards.
  • Promote staff development, ethical practice, and trauma-informed supervision.
  • Collaborate with program leadership and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Foster a wellness- and recovery-oriented environment using evidence-based practices.
