About The Position

The Director of Clinical and Social Services (DCSS) Creates, directs, and implements the policies and procedures for the Clinical/Social Services Department. Ensures a high level of quality care and services for patients by coordinating and communicating operational procedures to staff and various departments. Monitors, evaluates, and modifies programs while adhering to company guidelines and standards. Directs and manages day-to-day operations for our Clinical Services department and staff. Responsible for oversight of case management and psychotherapeutic services to all patients and their families; to serve as a member of inter-disciplinary team supporting the organization's treatment program and philosophy, and ensure the delivery of quality treatment to patients and their families. Provides supervision of licensure hours to those associate-level therapists.

Requirements

The DCSS must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of California.
High School Diploma
Masters Degree in Counseling, Social Work or a related field (MSW, MFT)
Minimum of 3 years of similar experience, with at least 1 year in a behavioral or psychiatric setting
Current CA License as LCSW.
Current CPR certification when you apply or obtain certification prior to your start date.
Exceptional Leadership skills.
Experience in inpatient and outpatient social services.
A clear understanding of case management, time management, and crisis intervention common to acute psychotic as well as to non-violent crises intervention practice.
Knowledge of acute psychological disorders; advanced principles of abnormal psychology as specifically applied to adults and adolescents.
Familiarity with follow-up resource services.
Skills in conducting marital and family group therapy.
Experience navigating complex work schedules in a 24/7 environment of care
Experience leading a team of direct reports of 10 or more employees.
