About The Position

Clinical Supervisor - Elmhurst - Cardiology Full-Time; 40 hours/week Location: Joliet Hours: Varied; M-F, weekends and travel as needed. Licensed RN Required

Requirements

  • CPR Certified
  • Active Illinois RN license required
  • At least 3 years of experience in a medical setting such as a doctor's office, hospital or long-term nursing facility.

  • One year of leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional clinical leadership
  • Maintain work schedule for nursing department staff
  • Delegate tasks
  • Monitor overtime and adjust schedules accordingly
  • Approve time off requests for nursing staff and adjust schedule as needed
  • Provide orientation and training for new nursing staff members
  • Assist in annual employee evaluations
  • Coordinate nursing staff meetings as needed
  • Delegate nursing task
  • Inventory medical supplies and submit supply orders as needed
  • Monitor budgetary constraints
  • Maintain Duly Health and Care policy and procedures
  • Doctor/patient liaison
  • Maintain patient confidentiality
  • Assure OSHA/Safety compliance
  • Meet regularly with office manager
