Responsible for coordinating, teaching and administering respiratory care procedures and support to patients and staff in the neonatal, pediatric, and adult care units. The Clinical Specialist for Respiratory Care is a highly specialized and technically knowledgeable practitioner providing operation support to the Manager of Respiratory Care/Cardiopulmonary Services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in respiratory therapy or related field or equivalent experience required.
- Four years’ experience with two to three years of critical care experience as a specialist for the area of expertise.
- Must have additional one-year experience as a specialist for the area of expertise and one-year experience in coordinating/managing and/or teaching staff.
- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner/RT (RCPRT) license required for applicable state.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for coordinating, teaching and administering respiratory care procedures and support to patients and staff in the neonatal, pediatric, and adult care units.
- Providing operation support to the Manager of Respiratory Care/Cardiopulmonary Services.
