The Clinical Social Worker I collaborates with other professionals to evaluate patients' medical or physical condition and to assess client needs as part of the interdisciplinary team. They work collaboratively with all healthcare team members to develop and implement treatment plans that support patient-centered plan of care for both individual patients and the medical community. The Clinical Social Worker I- FLOAT will be responsible for covering across 10 inpatient units on the McLean Belmont campus. This will involve working with a variety of psychiatric diagnoses/ populations including, geriatrics, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, personality disorders, trauma and dissociative disorders, and co-occurring substance use disorders. Our practice is to have floats train and become proficient at the inpatient level of care before assisting with coverage in the residential and partial programs, as this ensures a consistent foundation and supports safe, effective coverage across settings.
