About The Position

The Behavioral Health Service Line (BHSL) Clinical Services Manager (CSM) is a clinical leadership position within the Psychiatric Research Institute (PRI) on the main UAMS campus. It is responsible for supervising and coordinating daily operations of the designated clinic/units, including patient care and clinic/unit business processes.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
5 or more years of experience in the field of Nursing, with 3 years nursing management/leadership experience (recent acute psychiatry experience preferred)
Registered Nurse license in the state of Arkansas by the State Board of Nursing
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, flexible, ability to independently problem solve
Must possess strong leadership and mentoring abilities

Nice To Haves

Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN)
At least 5 years of nursing experience, and 3 years of nursing inpatient management/leadership experience (3 years of acute psychiatry experience)
Scheduling for inpatient, knowledge and skill to interpret and apply clinical inpatient attendance policies

Responsibilities

Leading, managing and mentoring 90+ inpatient staff.
Identifying problems impacting patient care activities and assists in the ongoing evaluation of the unit’s goals for patient care.
Attending meetings and participate on various BHSL and hospital committees and will be part of a team that ensures adherence to UAMS standards of patient care.
Ensuring adherence to UAMS standards of patient care.
