The Brook - KMI is a 98-bed hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient, extended care, residential, partial hospitalization and outpatient services for adolescents, adults and seniors. Requirements
- Education: Required: Currently working towards a Master's Degree from an accredited school in the Behavioral Sciences
Responsibilities
- Therapist interns will work closely with a member of our therapy team.
- The Clinical Therapist is a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team.
- obtaining psycho-social assessments
- conducting family/group therapy on assigned cases
- complete documentation per hospital policy and procedure
- case coordination
- coordinate discharge planning
- assist in developing and maintaining community resource information
- performs marketing functions as assigned
- assists in the maintenance of the program environment in compliance with policies of safety and security
- ensures good clinical judgment to ensure optimum patient care
- participate in continuing education activities.
