Position Summary The Clinical Sales Specialist – Renal Division will lead the promotion, clinical adoption, and sales growth of the Wrapsody® Endoprosthesis and associated dialysis access portfolio. This role blends clinical expertise with strategic selling in interventional radiology, vascular surgery, and endovascular suites. You will serve as both a trusted procedural partner and a revenue driver — supporting physicians during cases, educating care teams, and expanding market utilization of Wrapsody across the territory. Requirements

  • Demonstrated sales success in B2B settings, medical device sales experience, or a background in clinical settings.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to analyze feedback in a learning environment to develop strategies for improving knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Thorough understanding of coaching and development techniques, along with the ability to implement a corporate clinical or sales preparation program related to Merit’s products.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to comprehend complex issues.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to coordinate large-scale programs.
  • Demonstrated computer skills, preferably in spreadsheets, word processing, database management, and other applicable software programs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on procedural support for dialysis access and vascular interventions.
  • Deliver product in-services and clinical education to physicians, nurses, and technologists.
  • Serve as the technical expert during new product evaluations and launches.
  • Support clinical product trials and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to drive revenue growth.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities within IR, vascular surgery, and dialysis centers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Regional Sales Managers and leadership to exceed quota.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Position Merit’s renal solutions as a clinical and economic value-add.
  • Navigate hospital systems, IDNs, and dialysis networks.
  • Drive formulary approvals and expand product utilization.
