About The Position
The Registered Nurse is responsible for independently utilizing the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for a group of patients undergoing GI procedures based on HMNMH's policies, procedures and all regulatory requirements and provides oversight of unlicensed personnel on the team.
Requirements
- Current CA RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS provider cards
- Complete conscious sedation competencies in the first 30 days
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) required
- 1 year GI or Acute Care experience required
- Ability to perform GI circulating nursing skills
- Knowledge of endoscopy equipment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Problem solving skills
- Basic computer skills
Nice To Haves
- Certification in this specialty preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred
