This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join a Weekend Only Worker Program, eligible for full-time benefits and shift differentials for all weekend shifts. The Clinical RN II is primarily responsible for the delivery of coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients within an assigned unit, and for the day-to-day management and supervision of related clinical activities. The role involves coordinating the plan of care with the client, their family, and the interdisciplinary team. Additionally, the Clinical RN II is responsible for supervising and directing the activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel, utilizing professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment. The Registered Nurse must understand and adhere to the California Nurse Practice Act, The American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics for Nurses, the ANA Bill of Rights for Registered Nurses, and the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice for Nursing. Responsibilities also include the observation and direction of patient lifts and mobilization, and participation in patient handling as needed. The position requires the ability to speak and read English proficiently, knowledge of standard office equipment, and Windows computer skills including keyboarding and mouse operations, which must be proficient upon employment or within the first two weeks.
