The CRN functions as a leader within the three spheres of impact (Patient/Client, Nurses and Nursing Practice, Organization/System), and is an active participant in the nursing leadership team. In this pivotal role, you will: Empower Peers : Act as a mentor and clinical expert for nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning. Optimize System s: Drive evidence-based practice changes that improve patient safety and organizational efficiency. Deliver Excellence : Ensure every patient receives the world-class care synonymous with the Mayo Clinic name. This role is eligible for TN sponsorship. Successful sponsorship will require state licensure and completion of the VisaScreen or equivalent certification.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing.
  • Three years of successful work experience in nursing.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to adjust schedule to meet patient needs and CRN workload.
  • Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
  • Maintains current Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from one of the following programs: American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers), Red Cross (CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers), Military Training Network.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Two years in the specialty area preferred.
  • Additional specialty certification/training as required by the work area.
