About The Position

Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Clinical Resource Nurse (CRN) to support high-quality, evidence-based nursing practice across care settings. This role is ideal for nurses with strong clinical expertise who enjoy supporting peers and improving patient care. The CRN functions within the three spheres of impact—Patient/Client, Nurses and Nursing Practice, and Organization/System—by supporting clinical excellence and consistent nursing practice. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing. Master's degree preferred
  • Three years of successful work experience in nursing.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to adjust schedule to meet patient needs and CRN workload.
  • Current RN license by applicable state requirements. This RN job may require a RN license in multiple states.
  • The CRN will have five years to complete their CNS education and certification and APRN license – per individualized state requirements.
  • Maintains current Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from one of the following programs: American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers), Red Cross (CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers), Military Training Network.
  • Additional specialty certification/training as required by the work area.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years in the specialty area preferred.
