Patients are the focus, and as a Resident, you will receive exceptional training to prepare you for a lifelong career in Orthotics & Prosthetics. Under supervision, direct progressing to indirect, you will provide comprehensive prosthetic and orthotic care with the highest level of customer service. This includes assessing patients, formulating & implementing treatment plans, following-up with your patients, and participating in practice management. You will enjoy combining your unique blend of clinical and technical skills to evaluate patients, custom design, fabricate, and fit prostheses and/or orthoses to deliver exceptional outcomes. You will collaborate with other members of the rehabilitation team and innovate utilizing the latest technology. The Clinician Resident is bound by the prevailing residency rules, regulations, and standards set forth by NCOPE as well as the Code of Professional Responsibility from the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics (ABC).
