The Translational Research in Affective Disorders Laboratory (TReAD Lab) at Emory University is seeking a researcher to assist in coordinating all aspects of the research process (designing/programming experiments, recruiting/running participants, analyzing behavioral and neuroimaging data) involved in several longitudinal studies with a clinical adolescent sample, clinical adult sample, and control samples. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific field OR equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
  • Candidates should be self-motivated, independent, and reliable.
  • Strong organizational andcommunication skills are also essential.
  • A two-year commitment is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in cognitive science, neuroscience, psychology, or related field
  • Prior experience in human affective, clinical or cognitive neuroscience (e.g., conducting and analyzing fMRI or EEG studies), behavioral experiment administration, IRB management, or clinical interviewingexperience will all be viewed positively, but are not required.
  • Strong computer programming skills (forexample MATLAB and/or Python) are highly preferred but not required.
