Responsibilities

  • Collect experimental data for research protocols, including work with research subjects and non-complex procedures.
  • Run experimental procedures and transfer data outside of the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  • Maintain study-specific equipment and assist with research sample processing.
  • Assist in data analysis under PI and statistician oversight.
  • Design and program research experiments with guidance.
  • Prepare grants, conference abstracts, and manuscripts.
  • Review journals, abstracts, and scientific literature to stay current.
  • Attend department-wide research meetings and intern training sessions.
  • Receive ongoing mentorship and contribute to a publication based on your experience.
  • Perform additional duties related to research operations.
