The Clinical Research Coordinator A will provide research support across several grant and clinically-funded projects. The first is an innovative research project aimed at developing and testing a shared decision-making tool to support providers to guide patients with misophonia to make evidence-informed treatment decisions in a pilot randomized trial. The coordinator will dedicate approximately 25% of their time to this study, including coordinating and supporting the development of study materials, recruiting and consenting participants, collecting and entering quantitative and qualitative data, creating and maintaining databases, and preparing and submitting IRB documents. The remainder of the coordinators’ time will be dedicated to supporting ongoing clinical operations within a community mental health pediatric anxiety treatment program (the Pediatric Anxiety Treatment Center at Hall Mercer; PATCH Program) as well as coordinating foundation-funded program expansion related to selective mutism programming and quality improvement efforts. This position will also assist with maintaining and nurturing positive working relationships with research collaborators, study participants, and families seeking mental health services for anxiety and related disorders.
