The Human Motion Laboratory at the University of Pennsylvania is seeking an individual to fill a full-time Clinical Research Specialist A/B position. The candidate will work closely with Penn Medicine research faculty and clinicians to recruit and consent participants into research studies, collect human subjects research data, manage human subjects regulatory documents, and perform other tasks. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain organized notes is essential. Experience with IRB protocols, clinical research, and patient recruitment is highly desired. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary as interacting with patients and clinicians is a regular part of this position. This mid-level position will be responsible for the ‘A’ position duties in addition to more advanced responsibilities. These responsibilities include managing lab members, onboarding and training new staff and trainees, provide research updates to clinical collaborators, and assist in preparing grants and manuscripts.
