About The Position

The Clinical Reporting Product Manager will lead our healthcare and EMS reporting solutions, acting as the Product Owner in an Agile/Scrum environment. This role bridges customers, clinical teams, and engineering to gather real business needs and translate them into high-quality, reliable reporting solutions with a strong focus on user experience. By driving improvements in performance, quality, and safety, the Clinical Reporting Product Manager ensures our technology platforms support mission-critical EMS services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 3-5 years of EMS industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of EMS reporting standards, including NEMSIS, state and regulatory reporting, ImageTrend Report Writer, and ESO Insights
  • Hands-on experience in an Agile/Scrum environment with a solid understanding of Agile principles

Responsibilities

  • Own backlog prioritization, release planning, and triage for issues and enhancements.
  • Translate business needs into well-formed Agile user stories using interviews, workshops, site visits, surveys, and workflow analysis.
  • Serve as the domain expert for engineering, clarifying requirements and removing ambiguity so work never stalls.
  • Define and champion a technology vision and guiding principles that keep the platform aligned with core customer needs.
  • Monitor feature usage and run periodic user tests to surface training gaps, usability improvements, or alternative solutions.
  • Write and execute test plans and test cases; lead testing to ensure defects and enhancements are tracked and resolved promptly.
  • Perform acceptance testing on completed features to deliver low‑defect, high‑impact releases.
  • Ensure aviation and healthcare reporting products meet regulations (e.g., CMS, FAA, HIPAA).
  • Maintain a strong, consistent feedback loop with customers and stakeholders through regular demos and reviews.
  • Research and report on customer comments and complaints to drive product improvements.
  • Prepare release notes and user-friendly training materials (guides, cheat sheets, screencasts) and deliver periodic training sessions.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and vendors to coordinate testing and resolve defects efficiently.
