About The Position

The Recruiter Envoy II is responsible to identify, qualify, interview, and contract with Physician and APP candidates for client hospitals. This involves working closely with Operations Managers and physician, Advanced Practice Professional, and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, to coordinate applicant submissions and initiate the locum privileging process. The recruiter is responsible for developing and executing effective recruiting plans and managing the recruitment needs for all assigned hospital facilities and specialties.   • Bachelor's Degree from four-year College or University; 2+ years of experience recruiting physicians and specialty nurses or 5+ years general recruiting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Generates and develops leads through coordination of advertisements, cold calling, referrals, mass mailings, Internet sources, residency programs, and conventions.
  • Initiates contact and timely follow-up with prospective candidates. Documents all actions in database accordingly.
  • Develops and implements comprehensive recruiting plans for specific vacancies.
  • Coordinates interviews, screens and refers qualified physician applicants meeting hospital and state licensing requirements. Evaluates candidate for position and organizational match.
  • Coordinates interviews for Medical Directors and any Facility Administrative Personnel.
  • Discusses the Hiring process with new hires during the contracting phase. Obtains clarification from new providers on malpractice information as part of initial screening.
  • Facilitates identifying appropriate references for written reference checks.
  • Assists in procuring all necessary credentials and documents prior to any clinical assignments.
  • Maintains the integrity of the physician database. Utilizes the systems to obtain reports, searches and listings.
  • Prepares recruiting reports for regular meetings, as needed.
  • Conduct feedback calls on all new hires after 30/60 day interval to provide Medical Director and team with first impression of facility and to enhance retention efforts.
  • Participates in start-up protocol and scheduling for new contracts as needed.
  • Negotiates and supports negotiations with prospective candidates as necessary.
  • Coordinates the working availability of locum clinicians with the scheduling needs of the facility.
  • Prepares for and attends convention exhibits.
  • Coordinates activities with other team members to ensure credentialing of the provider.
  • Monitors and updates regular reports including interview outcomes and marketing documents.
  • Reviews weekly any outstanding contracts to follow-up with providers regarding return of the agreement or withdraw candidate.
  • Maintains regular contact with new hires until the effective start date and beyond for retention purposes.
  • Accepts additional responsibilities as necessary.
  • Reads and abides by the company’s code of conduct, ethics statements, employee handbook(s), policies and procedures and other corporate mandates, including participation in mandatory training programs
  • Reports any real or suspected violation of the corporate compliance program, company policies and procedures, harassment or other prohibited activities in accordance with the reporting policies of the company
