About The Position

The position is responsible for team collaboration and provision of all aspects of patient care and therapy. The individual will oversee a cohesive team within the assigned program and implement clinical programming. They will provide direct supervision to primary therapists, demonstrate clinical knowledge in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and documentation in electronic medical records. The role includes updating and collaborating with referents, participating in staff meetings, providing therapy services, utilizing patient-centered therapeutic interventions, documenting treatment episodes, and maintaining a continuous caseload of engaged individuals. The position also requires responding to crises and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field required.
  • Licensure or licensure eligible required; drug and alcohol certification preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in mental health or substance abuse field required.
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, young adults and women/mens issues.
  • Ability to inspire patient confidence in the FRN Staff and the FRN Model of Treatment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing tasks.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of computer software applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Understanding of diverse cultures and gender-specific issues.
  • Exhibit excellent customer relation skills.
  • Maintain appropriate confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a cohesive team within assigned program.
  • Implement clinical programming with assigned program.
  • Provide direct supervision to primary therapist in assigned program.
  • Demonstrate clinical knowledge in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, implementation, and documentation.
  • Update and collaborate with referents.
  • Participate in daily and/or weekly staff meetings regarding each patient and give recommendations.
  • Provide therapy services for individuals assigned to caseload.
  • Utilize patient-centered therapeutic interventions and rapport-building practices.
  • Document treatment episodes, contacts, treatment plans, and sessions according to requirements.
  • Demonstrate history of staff development.
  • Maintain appointed continuous caseload of actively engaged individuals.
  • Respond to crisis as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
