About The Position
The Clinical Pharmacy Technician works under the direct supervision of registered pharmacists in accordance with Florida law, rules, and regulations. The Clinical Pharmacy Technician participates in quality improvement projects and initiatives, assists with the training of team members, and serves as subject matter experts within the pharmacy department.
Requirements
- active registration as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy intern in the State of Florida
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certification
- the ability to obtain a level 2 AHCA clearance
- two (2) years of experience in a Pharmacy Technician role within SMHCS or comparable organization
- High School Diploma, GED or Certificate
Nice To Haves
- recent comparable institutional, retail, or community practice experience as a pharmacy technician
