Clinical Pharmacy Supervisor
About The Position
The Clinical Pharmacy Supervisor is responsible for providing all aspects of the Pharmacy department operations to ensure optimal, cost-effective patient therapy. The Supervisor will oversee the activities of Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and Pharmacy Interns. She/he will obtain medication histories, maintain and monitor medication profiles during designated floor rounds, while providing primary care and consultative services to patients and health care provider’s to ensure optimal drug therapy, reduction in length of stay.
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy required.
- Current State of New York Pharmacist License required.
- New York State Certified Immunizer (within 12 months of hire) required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
Nice To Haves
- 3 years of hospital or Clinical Pharmacy experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Meditech, Acu-Dose, CPOE preferred.
