Make a Difference Community Health Network MD Anderson Cancer Center is looking for a clinically trained pharmacist to join our growing team. This position includes providing patient care in both the inpatient and outpatient settings, on a rotating basis. Serving as the subject matter expert, the clinical specialist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement and maintain clinical pharmacy services for the cellular therapy program. Beyond patient care, the pharmacist will play a significant role in the development of treatment and supportive care protocols and network policies. Additional career development opportunities include participation in disease specific tumor boards, involvement in research/clinical trials, and precepting students and residents. Your Exceptional Skills and Qualifications Your experience working in pharmacy, knowledge of treatment modalities and dedication to patient care are your most vital skills as a Clinical Pharmacist. Your dedication to patient care and expertise in pharmacy will arm you with the skills necessary to thrive in a highly skilled unit. You are able to communicate tactfully and effectively with patients, staff, physicians and visitors. You are able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in his/her area.

Requirements

  • Your experience working in pharmacy, knowledge of treatment modalities and dedication to patient care are your most vital skills as a Clinical Pharmacist.
  • Your dedication to patient care and expertise in pharmacy will arm you with the skills necessary to thrive in a highly skilled unit.
  • You are able to communicate tactfully and effectively with patients, staff, physicians and visitors.
  • You are able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in his/her area.
  • Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy, Bachelor or PharmD; Doctorate degree .
  • Indiana Pharmacist license

Nice To Haves

  • Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP), preferred.
  • You have successfully completed PGY1 Pharmacy Residency and PGY2 Pharmacy Residency in Oncology, preferred
