The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist for Ambulatory Melanoma, Sarcoma, and GI Oncology will join a highly collaborative outpatient care team dedicated to delivering comprehensive and patient‑centered pharmaceutical care. In this role, you will provide direct ambulatory oncology services, including therapy management, patient education, toxicity assessment and monitoring, and optimization of supportive care. You will work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and nursing colleagues to support individualized treatment plans, advance evidence‑based practice, and contribute to quality‑improvement and practice‑development initiatives. This role also includes opportunities to precept learners, including APPE students and PGY‑1 and PGY‑2 pharmacy residents, helping to support the growth and development of future oncology pharmacists. The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist provides a wide range of services in their area of expertise. These services may include, but are not limited to, rounding with physicians and other healthcare providers to drive evidence based and institution guideline directed medication therapy management, active participation in the training of pharmacy students and pharmacy residents, assist with policy and guideline development, and active participation in local and system level committees and workgroups in their area of expertise.
