Clinical Pharmacists play a critical role in the comprehensive treatment of patients at Cleveland Clinic. In this role, you will utilize your education and experience to ensure access to accurate and appropriate pharmaceutical services. A caregiver in this position works varying shifts from 6:30AM - 9:30PM. Requirements

• PharmD or Bachelor's of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of Pharmacy
• Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible within 90 days of hire
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross and completion of a Board of Pharmacy approved course in the administration of immunizations or certification within 90 days of hire for individuals administering immunizations
• Completion of a post-graduate year 1 residency (PGY1), fellowship or 2 years of relevant post-graduate pharmacy experience

• Post-graduate year 2 residency (PGY2) or relevant experience preferred for Clinical Pharmacists hired in an inpatient setting

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, patient-centered and evidence-based medication services.
• Verify medication orders and/or dispense medications accurately according to state and federal regulations.
• Document services in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
• Ensure all pharmacy operations comply with national accreditation standards.
• Maintain professional interactions with patients to facilitate successful patient experiences.
• Educate and train students, residents, other caregivers and/or patients.
