Requirements

  • Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) Degree
  • Active Colorado (DORA) Physical Therapy license
  • A genuine passion for working with children of all ages, diagnoses, and abilities
  • A team-oriented mindset and commitment to delivering exceptional care
  • Experience working with pediatric patients (clinical rotations or professional experience)
  • Strong clinical documentation skills and familiarity with EMR systems
  • Excellent communication skills with children, families, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and position pediatric patients safely

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of pediatric physical therapy experience
  • Experience in one or more settings: outpatient pediatrics, home health, early intervention, or school-based therapy
  • Knowledge of pediatric development, motor milestones, and age-appropriate interventions
  • Ability to evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for pediatric populations

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat pediatric clients (ages 0–21) in outpatient and virtual settings
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, family-centered care
  • Complete evaluations, progress notes, and documentation efficiently and on time
